Will Youtube Count My Video As Copyright?

Question about Youtube copyright thing and video with music?

  • Hi, yesterday I uploaded a video on youtube. It featured lot of music songs in it. But on the video detail it had that artist:, buy on itunes thing. I got an email from youtube saying: Your video may have content that is owned or licensed by Zooland_Music. No action is required on your part; however, if you're interested in learning how this affects your video, please visit the Content ID Matches section of your account for more information. Sincerely, - The YouTube Team What's gonna happen? They say that the video is blocked in Austria (maybe cause the song is by someone from around there), but does this mean they'll end up disabling the audio or delete the video? Or does it mean that they did that instead and my video is safe? What should I do? Thanks

    Your video is most probably safe. They disable the audio on it. There are ways around it but then without prior permission of the artists involved it is just copyright infringement. Try substituting the music on the video with something else that is not copyrighted.

I'm not a major uploader on YouTube but I have tried to see videos and they were disabled so nobody could see them. I believe they would like you to say clearly in the description of the video that none of the music content is yours and it belongs to so and so. Hope this helps :)
