My Youtube videos are still viewable even though I deleted my account- please help!!?

I deleted my youtube account today, and when I try to click on that channel now it says the account is closed, which is good. However, when I google it or something and my videos pop up, I click on the links and it takes me to Youtube and it lets me watch the videos! I thought deleting the account was supposed get rid of the videos?!?! Did I have to delete the the videos before deleting the account or something? Please help I'm freaking out because I want the videos gone and now my account is closed so there's obviously no way I could go back and delete them now! HELP!

sometimes youtube gets overcrowded and it takes a while for changes to show up....wait it out for a day and see if it changes

The Youtube video clips that you uploaded, even if you deleted them, before deleting your account, they are often stored in a cache for a few days, after which nobody will be able to view them at all after a few days.
