How can I separate the video and audio of a Youtube video?

OK there is a song by a band that has most of their songs available for free download, but the link for a certain song is broken and when I try to email them about it I get a email saying that the message couldn't be sent. So I was wondering is there any way to separate the audio and video and save both of them, from a saved Youtube video? Help I really want the song.
