I want to begin a series of travel vids and upload to youtube but how do I get viewers?

What type of things can I do to advertise my videos I don't mind spending money

Why don't you make and upload a few videos first, before you start worrying about how to get viewers. If you make good videos, viewers will find you. You seem to be putting the cart before the horse by worrying about advertising and getting viewers before you've even begun making your videos.

make a group on facebook, tweet about it, myspace. there are websites you can advertise on. tell all your friends about it, family too. put up flyers around your city in gyms and anyplace with a discussion board. blog about it.
