Best way to upload videos from youtube to blog?

• My main concern is website speed. what is the best way to upload youtube hosted videos on my site? currently I have a plugin and I just change the youtube vid link from http:// to httpv:// and delete the extra end portion of the URL. I just realized that firefox cannot play the videos this way so I need to change the way i upload them. Whats the best way?

  Why would you do it that way? YouTube videos are made for embedding. If you just click under the video it will give you the embed script. Click on "share." Then, click on "embed." The code will look something like "iframe<..." Copy that code and paste it into the html section of the body of your website. If you're using Wordpress, click on the html tab, paste it in, and then go back to the other tab. If it gives you any trouble, check the box in YouTube that says, "use the old embed code."
