How to delete my Youtube account?

I am trying to delete my Youtube account. This is what I do: -sign into Youtube -click on my username -click on account -click on manage account -click on delete account -type in why I want to delete it -click delete Whenever I do this, It says this: Really Delete Account? If you unlink your accounts, you will no longer be able to sign in to YouTube with your Google account. Your YouTube account will stay the same otherwise, and you can still sign in with your YouTube username and YouTube password. There is a bug in the delete process that Google is supposedly aware of and working to fix.

Exactly how you did it, it should of worked. Maybe its because if you signed in, then it brings your account back. Try doing that, and the opt out of e-mails so those won't bother you, and then you should be ok. Good luck! (:
