How can I improve the quality of my videos?

How do I improve the quality of videos on the net?

• I Google, if I click on video and then in the search bar I enter, for example, waltz dance, I'm offered lots of videos to choose from but when I play any of them the video is of quite poor quality with jerky movements as if frames have been mist. There is a number below the video screen with settings at say 250 or 360. The video experience is better with the 360 setting but its still not good. How can I improve the quality of my of my video experience?
