How many video responses can you post on Youtube?

Why do people post crappy video responses to good videos?

I always see *video responses* on a video, and the majority of them are just terrible videos. Why do people post such crappy videos and post responses to good popular videos ? They post videos that have nothing to do with the original videos at all. Are they just trying to get views ? I mean really, I never allow video responses uinless the videos are actually good. It's like, all the music videos such as the one's uploaded by VEVO and such get around 50-100 video responses, and there all garbage videos. What's up with this ?

There was a study done in psychology where if you punched someone in the face, they would not like it. But they would like it even less if you just completely ignored them. So in theory, these people would rather be punched in the face, than ignored and not known. (this study is completely fake of course.. but i think i made a fair point.)
