How can I share with contacts my video from youtube?

How do I share my uploaded YouTube video??!!?

  • OK so, i made a video for my friend, and then uploaded it onto YouTube. I then set the video as Unlisted, because I didn't want others seeing it, and also, because I didn't think that she had a YouTube account (I would have set it as Private, and send it to her over YouTube). But then, I found out that she DID have a YouTube account. So now, I want to set is as Private, and send it to her. But when I set it as Private, and type in her username into the 50 users thing, there is no "Update" or "Send" button!!! How do I send it to her with it being private? Do I have to upload it again and then set it as Private right away? Thanks:)

It would be so much easier just to record and send it directly to her with one of the free video email services like mailVU.com or eyejot.com. You are making it too complicated trying to use YouTube.

When you type in her username, you are right, there is no send button. There is however, a save button at the bottom of the page. This will let you set the video as private and also let only her see it.
