I need help uploading a video to Youtube!?

  • Okay, so I used my Logitech Webcam Software to record a video on my computer, but when I open it, it keeps opening with Windows Media Player as a playlist, but not an actual video. I tried uploading it to Youtube, but the message I get is : Error uploading playlist files (WPL, ITL, M3U) These file types (WPL, ITL, M3U) cannot be uploaded because they are playlist files, not video files. A playlist file is like an index that is used to organise other media files, but it is not actually a video file that can be uploaded to YouTube. While the playlist file may reference videos, it does not actually include any video data. So can someone please give me some kind of instructions to format it into a movie or video compatible with YouTube!!!!

    Try Bandicam. You can record your gameplay, video and desktop screen with sounds. Also, you can upload the recorded file to YouTube without converting because the recorded file size is much smaller than other software.

Yes, you can't upload playlist file onto youtube, because it's just provide file index info, not actual video file, youtube support most avi and mp4 files well, so you'd better save your recorded video as avi or mp4 files, then upload onto youtube, or you can follow me to use Youtube Movie Maker, with it you can directly record the computer screen videos(press REC button) when using your webcam and microphone, then directly edit the recorded videos and post onto youtube. Hi there, If you think it sucks i found a site called Iceywarm.com that its like youtube but lets you upload any kind of Video. Anyways ever heard of Windows Live Movie Maker (FREEIST Comes with your Windows 7 Computer and i think XP) And publish dirrectly to Youtube from that :)
