Whats a good video editor conpatible with youtube?

You tube accepts quite a few formats. I'm suprised you have been having trouble uploading your final movie: * Windows Media Video (.WMV) * .3GP (cell phones) * .AVI (windows) * .MOV (mac) * .MP4 (ipod/psp) * .MPEG * .FLV (adobe flash) * .MKV (h.264) Free one would be to use Windows Live Movie Maker http://windowslive.com/desktop/moviemaker If you want to spend money, Adobe Premiere Elements 4 or later allows direct uploads to Youtube. Be warned, while it is powerful, it doesn't accept all formats as inputs (Flip would be an example of a format it cannot import).

I'm guessing you don't want to spend a fortune on something like Sony Vegas or Adobe CS4? I just use Windows Movie Maker. Pre-installed on all PCs. I also downloaded AnyVideoConverter (free version) to convert my .MOV files to Mpeg so they can be edited in WMM. Every video editor works with youtube, maybe you were saving the vids, instead of importing or rendering them!!! I use sony vegas pro 9, but if you are a starter, i would not recommend it, because it is about $600 bucks!!
