Why won't my video upload to YouTube?

Why wont youtube let me upload a video?

i have an 8 megabyte video and i have compressed it down to 2 megabytes but still it says failed due to unknown error. i tried the advanced upload and it says java not installed even though i clearly have it installed on my computer. my computer is windows xp. ive uploaded others before with no problem. and ive tried youtube movie maker and it wont accept my youtube username and password. ive tried youtube uploader and it just freezes and says it stopped working. my video does not violate any copyright laws and it is a wmv format, and its only 3:13 minutes long. so how can i fix this problem?

strange problem, i used youtube movie maker too, but no problem, I think you need to check your username and pwd, are they right? could you logon your accout on youtube?
