Why won't my computer let me on YouTube?

How do I fix my youtube?

• Recently I let my mother use my computer and since getting it back youtube video's won't work. The site loads and the page loads but when I press play the video just goes black and stays that way. I dunno if she installed/un-installed anything and she doesn't know either. Please help!

  well if you already have adobe flash player then here is how I fixed mine, adobe have a lot to answer for right click on the box where your video should be playing, then click on settings from the drop down menu, next go to the display in the little settings box and remove the tick from the "Enable hardware acceleration" and that's it, you should be able to watch youtube clips without trouble. if my suggestion works perhaps you could find a spare minute to reward me with best answer, thanks
