How to close my account?

How do I close a Youtube account that I just accidentally made?

I tried to sign into my Google e-mail and somehow I made a new Youtube account when I already have one. All of the videos and tutorials online on how to delete your account are not updated for the new version of Youtube. When you go to, "Manage Account" the only options are change password, authorized sites, sign out of all Youtube sessions, and link to a legacy Youtube channel. None of these options provide me a way to close my account. A step by step of how to close it would be much appreciated! Thanks.
Answer:

You have to log in with your username and password. Then you go to Account > Manage Account > Delete Account (or click here: http://www.youtube.com/ account?hl=en#manage/ delete ) and there you have to type in your password and a reason why you want to close your account.
