How can I record a YouTube video with a webcam and sound?

  • Hey guys, I was just wondering. I have an Xbox 360 vision camera and I can record You Tube videos but with no sound. It doesn't have sound built in to it so I tried attaching my turtle beach XLC which is compatible with the PC. When I speak into it and record I still get no audio. I can hear through the headset on my PC just not speak through it. By the way, I plugged it into the headphone jack and left the other one that usually goes in the 360 controller dangling. I want audio but that 360 cam doesn't have any. Any help? By the way I have no idea what to categorize this in.

    Get a video camera that does sound too. Try the Flip camera.

You need a 2.5 to 3.5mm adapter. Plug the talkback cable end of the headset (the part that goes into your controller) into the mic input on your PC.

I like Litecam because I can record anything on a computer screen, convert the recorded files into MP4 and play them on my iPhone 4 & iPad.
