How do you put this on your youtube?

How do i put music onto movie maker so i can put it on youtube?

  • i want to put a song on youtube with lyrics but i dont know how to put the music with it!! so how do you do it??

  • Answer:

If you're using Windows Live Movie Maker (the one that comes with Windows 7) then you could run into some issues, because of the way they have it set up. What I would suggest for this is to open Microsoft paint, make a solid black background, and save the picture, then upload it into the movie maker. After that, just make copies of it until the pictures run longer than the song. From there, it's all a matter of adding captions in time to the movie. What I would PERSONALLY suggest is to get a copy of Windows Movie Maker 2.6 offline. It's free to download, and will run on a Windows 7. It's a lot easier to use, even if it won't run as many file types, but MP3s work just fine. With that program, timing the captions should be easy. Good luck!

Other answers

- open Windows Movie Maker (I'm assuming that's what you're using) - create a new project - import the audio file with Import Media (this might have different names in different versions of WMM; if you can't find such a button or menu item, use the Ctrl+I keyboard shortcut, that might work) - drag the imported audio file to Audio/Music and drop it there - continue editing your video Don't forget to publish the movie (Ctrl+P) in order to be able to upload it to YouTube. Hope this helps!
