How do you clear everything off of the search menu?

You tube has changed its search bar menu can you help?

• I access a video for my son which he loves and its German but Youtube's search box has altered and I can't access it. Normally I type 'gartenbahn' into the box then press search. Then I go to 'sort by, relevance' which gives me a drop down menu of oldest/newest to which I select 'oldest' then a series of clips come up under the heading baketalbahn. However I can't do this now because it no longer gives me this option, even under advanced search. I've tried typing baketalbahn into the bar but it doesn't recognise it this way. Can anybody help please?
