How to customize youtube page?

Question about youtube home page video!!?

how to set your youtube page so that when you click the video you have on your home page it wont take you to a different page. for example if you go to youtube.com/fred and watch the video he have on his page in his page itself. when you click on that video it wont take you to a different page. but some peoples page if you click on the video it will take you to a new tab or window and play it there. why is that?? how to set it up like freds? Thank You

People like fred have 'special' things on youtube because he is a youtube member. But, if you clcik play on the homepage it SHOULD stay on that page as long as its the featured video. Other videos will always take you to a new page unless you use the new Beta channel which i find is actually a lot better and easier to use. hope this helped! Here is a link to my youtube channel.
