Youtube Account Terminated. Was it done with good reason?
-
My Youtube account was terminated, and i´m wondering if the reason they terminated my account was valid. Last night i checked on youtube and saw that someone had commented on my youtube video. That comment said that he/she was going to report me for misleading links. Only minutes later my account was terminated. This video of mine that this person commented on was of a kid freaking out over a video game, harmless. But in the bottom right corner of the video was a website labeled into the video, i downloaded the video from that website and that label just comes with it. The thing about this website is that its like youtube but more 18+ material, pornography, graphic accidents and disturbing content, but it also has harmless videos like the one i sent on youtube, its all sorts of videos. When it was terminated the only reason given to me was: "spam, scams and commercially deceptive content" I realize that having this website displayed may be bad for children, but why couldn´t they just put an age restriction on it? Do they just assume i´m trying to advertise this website? It came with the video... I read over the community guidelines, here: http://www.youtube.com/t/community_guidelines And i can´t see how i broke it. There´s only a link in the video, its not even a link, you can´t click it. You have to manually write it in. Is it a spam? Don´t i have to do more so its a spam? One video with one website displayed and its a full out spam that deserves a life-time ban from youtube? I just think its a bit extreme. Just to be clear, i was not advertising for this website, that label just came with the video and it can´t be removed. I have seen countless of videos with the exact same label from that website on youtube, all up and running fine. Also i´m avoiding naming that website because i don´t want to take a chance of having another e-mail banned. (yes my youtube account was linked with my e-mail so it got banned to)

Answer:
Yes, you were banned because of sufficient cause. Don't steal videos, don't put them on Youtube, unless you've checked them very carefully. You've probably had a few complaints in quick succession and been auto-banned. Also bear in mind the possibility that the site referred to rotates links so that whoever looked at it got something much worse than you did.
