What happens if you delete your YouTube account?

If I delete my primary Google account, will my YouTube be affected?

• I connected my primary Google account with my YouTube a while ago, but wish to change my Gmail address. Seeing as I cannot do this, I created a new Gmail account. Whenever I log into my YouTube, my Gmail gets logged off automatically. I have tried to unlink my primary Google from my YouTube, but it is permanently linked. On my Gmail, I listed my newly created account as the secondary Email. If I delete my primary Google account, will my YouTube be affected at all or do I have to create a new YouTube account to link to the new Gmail?

  Of course it will be affected, If you delete your Gmail Acc.---Everything will be lost---youtube,gmail,orkut & other google services used by that account> Basic Email address Cannot be changed. If u wish another gmail address--- make a new one. Yes u hav to create new youtube account.
