How can I get more people to rate my videos on YouTube?

It's amazing how many people watch the first 30 seconds of so of the video, then scroll down and comment, and then click off the video without rating it! I don't understand why so many people forget to rate videos. I never forget myself, I always rate every video I come across. So how can I get more people to rate my videos?

    The best way to do so is to just say in capitals: please don't forget to rate my videos. This is the most obvious and direct and effective way. that is how I do it and i get a lot of ratings

Make an annotation during part of it saying like, "5 stars for pink cows!" or whatever is in your clip. I always rate videos that do that. Send me your link and I'll do that for you.

DONT ask people 2 rate. Keep it natural. Just make videos which can load easily n are download friendly. If ur videos r kool n crisp, people will automatically vote. Dont show people that u r attention seeker, infact everyone is. And build a good reputation of videos. i am sure people will start subscribing as well.

Add more tags to your video so that it will pop up more often in searches so that you have a higher percentage of viewers which means a higher percentage of people actually rating, then, at the bottom of your description write PLEASE RATE THANKS :)

I never rate them. I figure they will either get thousands of hits eventually or hardly get any hits. I usually only go to watch you tube videos that have somebody on them I know or they are about ELE, extinction level events like meteors hitting the earth and such. But you will get more hits as long as your video is easy to remember and your URL is easy to pronounce.

Ask people that are popular on YouTube to give you shout out and have them tell those people to rate your videos. I suggest RayWilliamJohnson or MeekaKitty
