Why can't I watch episodes of House or other TV shows on YouTube anymore?

Last season, whenever I'd miss a week, I'd head to YouTube to watch it, but partway through Season 5, the episodes weren't posted anymore. Now that Season 6 is starting, I'd like to watch the end of last season, but I don't have the $$ to buy the DVD set. Is there anywhere I can go to watch the episodes? (Fox.com has full episodes but only for viewers in the USA) Thanks

Because those shows are copyrighted. The people posting them on YouTube were breaking the law.
