Helpp!!! how do you get a video from dvd shrink onto youtube?

i've been trying to figure this out for soo long and i don't know what i'm doing haha. i got the video onto dvd shrink and everything, but then i go to upload it to youtube and i cant find it anywhereee. the video says its 7 minutes and 34 seconds and 441 megabytes. help me pleaseeee!!!
