How To Get More Views?

How to get a bigger audience on YouTube? More views, etc.?

• I have been doing Sub 4 Sub on YouTube, considering that's the only realistic way most people can actually get subscribers these days ... I made it to near 3,000 in less than four months. I have over 30,000 total views, but I don't really have an audience ... I have to be constantly tossing videos at peoples' faces, down their throats, using bots to link people to my videos, etc. There's no other way I can think of ... I've tried just going around advertising my stuff, channel, etc., but most people, if not 99%, just don't give a damn, and don't care to bother with anyone advertising them self. Social networking isn't doing any justice either, having 4,000+ followers on Twitter, yet nobody really watches the videos when I tweet them and no one on Facebook really does either. Social network branching isn't helping, linking isn't either, and I've spend a prolonged amount of time advertising everything manually myself, but the truth is that people don't seem to care these days unless it's plastered in their face 24/7. People tell you stuff like "Make better content", etc. Better content doesn't mean people will find the videos, better content doesn't mean people will ever see it, and better content DOESN'T mean you're going to get more views in any. I've seen trash with millions of views, and great content with 50. Great content isn't the key to views, and hard work isn't either. There must be some secrets that these big YouTubes use and/or do to get big, because I'm clearly blind to these secrets or don't understand them.
