How do you double space emails on gmail?

Deleting MASS Emails from GMAIL?

  • So my GMAIL inbox is 99% full and I have 2 options: buy more space, or delete all the old emails in my gmail account.... I want to delete all of my old emails and I am not going to sit there and check 50 off at a time and delete them that way, it would take forever. I did some searching and found out that you can search your gmail inbox using advanced search terms such as: before:yyyy/mm/dd after:yyyy/mm/dd You can find these search terms here: http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=7190 However, when I perform this search to delete all emails before say, 2010/07/01 the search either returns emails that I received tonight (April 23, 2011) or it only includes about 100 emails from that exact day. Why isn't this search function working properly? I am doing it in the correct format and I ensured that there was no space between before:yyyy/mm/dd... Anybody have any ideas on how to delete mass amounts of mail from my GMAIL account...this is getting frustrating!

  • Answer:

you can not MASS delete in greater than 50 in gmail, you need to manually delete it in 50..you have no options about that.
