How to get my website on the first page of google search engine?

How can I get my band's web pages on search engine's first page (i.e. Google, Yahoo, Bing)?

  • I'm with the band With Skies Aside. We've put together a Myspace, a Facebook, and a Purevolume page. One of our fans put one of our songs lyrics up and it has spread to a million other lyric sites. Now our Myspace and Purevolume page has been pushed back to page two (not good if a first time listener is looking for you) I'd like to see if there's any way to move the more important sites to the first thing a person sees when they Google's (or for that matter Yahoo's) us. Thanks!
