Why isn't my Gmail account working?

  • I had to set up a Gmail account to send assignments to my teacher, but it won't let me send any email. It says: Technical details of permanent failure: Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.1.1 <-------> invalid recipient - Refer to Error Codes section at http://postmaster.cox.net/confluence/display/postmaster/Error+Codes for more information. (state 14). How can I fix this?

    All that means is the email address you sent it to is invalid. You probably just spelt it wrong.
