My google maps in ipod touch 4g is not showing routes in Kuwait why is that so?

I have an ipod touch 4g and the map shows routes in New York and Canada but it doesn't show routes in Kuwait

Does Google Maps allow for directions in Kuwait? Also, the iPod version of Maps is a dumbed down version of the maps.google.com on your desktop. Try using Safari on your iPod and type in maps.google.com.
