Why won't Outlook 2010 connect to my Gmail anymore?
-
My Outlook 2010 and iPhone always connected properly to my Gmail account before today. I have followed all the steps correctly including manual configuration of the POP settings. The email is recieved in my Gmail but Outlook reports an error saying it cannot find the e-mail server. My iPhone simply reports there are no new messages. Yesterday I deleted some programs from my computer including Microsoft Games but I don't think I deleted anything important to my e-mail account (or else the iPhone would be working as well). Thank you.

Answer:
If your keep the messages on the server (Webmail) I suggest you delete the account and reinstall it automatically. I think Gmail uses IMAP now. or before you do that check on the pop server on what port you're using, try to change port numbers. Check the link below
