Why doesnt wifi signal show up?

Wifi with android???

ok so Im trying to get wifi from my school to my android... ,but when I my phone scans for the signal it doesnt show up. My friend gave me the password ,and he somehow got it to work on my phone except I turned it off and I guess the signal went away and was not remembered on my phone... I wont see my friend until weeks from now so how do I make the wifi work on my phone again if I have the password????

You have to be within radius of the wifi connection in order for it to work. Maybe u just turned off wifi. follow these steps: 1. menu 2. settings 3. wireless & networks 4. Check WIFI 5. Wifi settings 6. Look for the network and connect to it 7. enter password 8. finished Hope this helped
