How to delete Twitter account without losing all your tweets :)?

Hi. I want to delete my twitter account but without losing all my tweets. Is it possible for me to back them up via @backupmytweets (site: http://backupmy.net/?site=t), deactivate my account and when i sign back in again, still find them there? Thank you in advance if you can answer me :)

Answer:
Iif you kill an account with Twitter, all your tweets are lost. You could copy and paste it to a document depending on how far back you account goes
