Is there any way to delete the search results of someone's username off search engines (ex. google)?

Whenever I search my old username, liek on google, there's alot of websites that show what forums I've registered with, craigslist postings I've posted, etc. Is there ANY way to delete these search results? Thanks!

Answer:
The only way would be to delete the content the search engine is pointing to (ie the postings, etc)
