Salem Alikoum, In Google Chrome, you want to check your options/settings. In the top right corner of the browser there is a wrench/tool icon. Click that, then click on options. On the first tab, you want to make sure that Google is your Default Search provider. What happens is that sometimes, when you install programs, it also installs a new search provider and takes over the search function. Good luck

Right click on the URL bar and choose "Edit search engines." There you can add and remove search engines and switch your default one back to Google.
