What exactly does a google analytics do? Please help?

i want to analyze facebook.com through google analytics. how do i do that?

google analytics only help the people who are the administrator of their sites or blogs. and i don't think so that you are another mark juck..... so if you want to use the analytics you have to create your own blog and then paste the analytics code on your blog and then you can track your blog that how much visits getiing your blog and many other things.

Analytics allows you to track web site visits. Facebook does not authorize 3rd party code or applications in this manner. Since Google requires you prove you are the domain owner, you are not able to verify your Facebook page because the domain (facebook.com) is not yours. Therefore, Google will not allow analytics for you either, on Facebook. Facebook has it's own internal tracking systems you can access what they give you from your facebook page on the left side to look for stats. They change the platform often by experimenting with revenue postures so you may or may not see any option on any day for anything.
