Goodle AdSense Account Not Being Approved?

Hi Everyone! I created my own Blog on Blogger and decided to put ads on my site to earn some money. I filled in the required fields and I got a message from Adsense saying that they will approve my account within two days. It's been five days and my status is still " Waiting for approval". What's going on? I am really concerned about this, can someone help me? I read online that Adsense usually rejects blogs that have a subdomain like example.blogspot.com and don't have a domain like example.com. Is that true? I would be very grateful, Thanks once again!

Yes you NORMALLY need your own top level domain name to apply for AdSense BUT blogger is an exception, they have an arrangement with AdSense. As long as you applied through the Monetise Link in your Blogger Control Panel you should be OK. Ignore the 2/3 days a bit. New applications are taking anything from 24 hours to 4+ weeks at the moment.
