Can anyone tell me how to install the Google Search by Voice app on my samsung galaxy s?

  • Hello, as the question says I'm having trouble figuring out how to install the Google Search by Voice app on my Samsung Galaxy s. I've tried downloading it from the google mobile page but i cannot find it. I've seen a video review of the Samsung Galaxy S and the person reviewing the phone had that app installed and used it so i know the app works on the galaxy s. So can anyone please tell me where can i find this app? Thank you in advance

    It should already be built into the Android OS, there is no need to download it... I am assuming it was an Android rookie that had to download... anyway, follow these simple steps: 1) Press and hold anywhere on a blank spot on your screen (you may have to scroll to a new page if your home screen is full already). 2) You should see a menu pop up "Add to Home", click on "Android widget". 3) Scroll down to "Search", it should have an icon with the letter "g" as in Google. 4) Touch it, and it should add the widget to your screen, you will see a microphone next to the search bar, click that, and it will ask you to speak your search term.
