Google Redirects to STOPzilla or ad sites, help?!?
-
When making a search in Google, clicking on a link will redirects me to either a site for STOPzilla, a blank page, or an ad site and shopping sites. I've tried Spybot Search & Destroy, Ad-Aware, Malwarebytes, SUPERAntispyware, and TDSSKiller. They've all come up with nothing, even when I ran scans again in safe-mode with networking. I'm going out of my mind trying to figure out how to fix this issue. I should probably mention that it does not happen to all searches or links on Google. But it's very annoying when it happens, and I have to click back rapidly sometimes - due to popups when redirected. I feel like I've been scanning my computer non-stop for the past few days. Clicking back sometimes returns me to the site I should have originally been sent to, and sometimes I'm back to a blank page. This happens both in Mozilla Firefox and IE. I'd greatly appreciate help, preferably a simple method? - that will not put my computer at risk :) Thanks!

Answer:
If none of the anti-virus can catch the virus, you really only have two options left. One is trying a system restore, dating the restore to before the point when you had this issue. Second option is to do a clean install of your OS. You do have a virus, and I'm surprised nothing is able to pick it up. You can check your task manager, check the list of all the processes that are running and see if you can spot the virus, as often you can type in google the name of each process and it will let you know if it a legit program. If you spot anything such as 1233q3453342.exe then it's an obvious virus.
