How do you create google chrome extensions?

Google Chrome Extensions - Help?

  • Whenever I seem to install extensions for Google Chrome they seem to work fine until I restart my computer, they then appear to.. well, stop functioning? There is no error messages and also it shows them as still being enabled. The only fix I know of is to uninstall and reinstall the extensions after restarting, seeing as I have a few in my collection by now this is very unpractical and time consuming. Fixes or advice anyone?

  • Answer:

Are you entering incognito mode? That disabled extensions in the window, but they'll probably still appear enabled in the settings. Also does disabling and re-enabling the plugins work instead of actually uninstalling and reinstalling them?

1. Okay so try uninstalling Google Chrome completely 2. If that failed clear your DNS cache: You can do this by Opening the Start menu. Go to Run. If you do not see the Run command in Vista, search for "run" in the Search bar. In the Run text box, type: ipconfig /flushdns Press Enter or Return, and your cache will be flushed. - if you don't do IT then don't worry this won't do anything to your internet/computer. 3. If that doesn't work you could go to the google chrome help center (Its in the sources) I'm afraid if that doesn't help you might have to resort to not having extensions/apps at all,or use Mozilla Firefox Internet Explorer 9 - Although neither of these are as fast as Chrome Hope I helped.
