Google chrome keeps crashing?

  • I'm running windows 7 on my acer laptop, and yesterday while I was trying to download a video (unaired pilot of Sherlock from reputtable source) my entire computer crashed. Upon turning it back on google chrome will open but not show anything (blank window). I uninstalled chrome and reinstalled, same problem - blank screen. I've run a virus check (with Microsoft Sercurity Essentials) nothing has shown up and it says ny computer is fully protected =/. Restarting the computer and network haven't helped. And it's started blue screening.... I'm currently using firefox but need to get the bookmarks off chrome I can see them all but just want to export them to a html file (bookmarks manager won't open) and firefox can't seem to import them directly. Question 1: Any other way I can get the bookmarks off chrome? Question 2: Better yet anyone know how I can fix chrome or my computer?? Please help!

    Firefox is the best for any purpose.For manage bookmarks you can use "xmark". Go www.xmark.com then download it for any browser like Firefox, chrome, IE etc.you can upload all of your bookmarks on that site very easy and dload all bookmarks for any computer without any cut, copy, paste

I had the same issue…I Know it well. You need to download and reinstall it again and also download System Cleaner Reginout for fixing/deleting computer errors in your system. Only then you can have it working smooth again.

I don't know how to fix your problem. But if you need to get some url in your bookmark. In window XP you can access bookmark file at C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Bookmarks Didn't sure path for Win7 but may make you idea to look around Bookmark file. After you found that, you can open it with notepad to get your url. But I don't know how to export this to other browser. Maybe you need to copy->replace in other computer that can open chrome, then export it. Sorry, if not in your require.
