Why did google answers fail when google is the most popular site on internet?

Google answers were answered by professional researchers and academic experts. You had to pay them a fee to provide the answer. It was totally different from yahoo answers because yahoo answers is made up of illiterate, unschooled and teenage type people. The answers in yahoo answers are in no way accurate or researched. Most of the answers on yahoo are rubbish compared to google answers. I once used google answers and they charged me 20 dollars for the question but the answer I received was amazing and so well researched. It was a very high quality answer. That type of answer quality can never be matched by yahoo answers.

well since it was a pay to use service it probably failed because it wasn't making enough money. google is a large corporation, they do not actually care about anything except pure profit, if it does not make enough profit they will cut it.

you answered your own question. Yahoo Answers is free so anyone can use it. Most of the time, people asking random questions on the internet are younger people with no money. $20 a question seems ridiculous to me.

I believe Yahoo answers community is better because here all ages of people can answer and participate...and google fails because they cant generate more money through their google answers...
