  • Answer:

You have a redirect virus/trojan. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=redirect+trojan maybe you have an expired norton with old virus definitions redirect ones can be tough to get rid of you never said if you did a safe boot and then a full scan also known as a hijacking virus

you have what is called a hijacking virus. go to malwarebytes.org and get the free download, install and update it, then run it. that should fix it.

Im having the EXACT same problem right now, I use AVG and nothing is wrong with my computer, I just keep getting DNS errors when searching. Good luck!

You can go to this site: notaproxylist-ipromise.com to find new proxies that will let you access blocked content at either work or school.

If you have ruled out viruses, stuffed browser etc, then the problem may just be your computer. I suggest getting a new computer, such as mac. I have a mac and it have rarely stuffed up. It doesn't even have an anti virus. The other possiblility is that the problem is due to human error. This probably hasn't really helped, but i hope you use my suggestions. :)

try clearing your history. your bowser may be finnishing what it thinks you will type for you. And for the blocking safe sites thing, try typing _https_ instead of _htpp_
