How can I delete the drop down history in the search field?

How to delete old search terms from a website's search bar?

• I am NOT asking how to delete my web history in my web browser, how to clear the cache, how to delete old website addresses, or what people mostly ask about in reference to this. What I am asking is this: when you go on a website (any website) there is usually a "search" field where you can search for content (a particular product, service, etc.) on THAT website. I noticed recently, that despite running CCleaner, deleting web history, clearing my cache, deleting cookies, etc. that on many websites I go to, my old searches still automatically drop down when I put my cursor in the search box. How do I delete this?

  If you are using Internet Explorer use the folloing steps Tools-->Internet Options-->Content tab ---> --> Click 'settings' button under Autocomplete feature -->uncheck "Forms" check box -->Ok Now u are sure deleted old search terms. To be sure check on the search bar. If u are so interested the next search terms to be automatically drope down use the above step and check "Forms" check box --->Ok
