Question on Using Google Chrome?

Google Chrome won't work but other browsers will?

• I've been using safari / firefox off and on for about a month now because google chrome refuses to work. I've tried reinstalling several times and i've also asked this same question before (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AvdAd9d3Ubnke2bXOMORKPfty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20110120095049AAldG98) but none of these answers worked. Every time I open it I get the 'This webpage is not available.' page and when i click on more information on the error i get this 'Error 10 (net::ERR_ACCESS_DENIED): Unknown error.' (don't know if that helps?) google chrome is my personal favorite and I hate not being able to use it. Any suggestions?

  My anti virus program is McAfee Entire Defense and, indeed, it absolutely was the Firewall leading to blunders.   Here's how I solved it:   *Click on on Firewall>Settings   *Click on on Program Permissions   *Just click Google Chrome & the Delete button   *Simply click the Add button   *Browse at the Google Chrome.exe document (it must be in your User folder>App Data>Local>Google>Chrome>Application   *Add the program and Viola - nice as glowing as new   Now the question is Why? The firewall is blocking Google Chrome because the anti virus approach now not recognizes it - even though it is on the list of permitted programs. My guess is that some kind of automatic update from Google changed the program file and the anti virus program stopped recognizing it as a result. That's why you have to delete the old entry and add a new one. Much easier than uninstalling/reinstalling your anti-virus or even Chrome!
