New to myspace.....HELP PLEASE !!!?
-
I just signed with myspace and have downloaded some personal photos. My question is how can I customize myspace page with an Ohio State Buckeyes theme. And how do I get rid of all the advertisements? Any direction and help will be extremely appreciated. Thanks, Bob

Answer:
Well first you have to find a layout online. You can just type in Ohio State Layouts on google and it will come up, but unfortunatley you can't do anything about the advertisements. Oh and when you get the HTML code for the layout, copy it and then paste it in your "About Me" section on your edit profile page.

Hey Bob! lol cool name btw.. well anyways there's many ways you can customize your myspace..Mine is set in the old version, I think that's easiest but it really doesn't matter. Ok so what you do is you go to "edit profile" and in your about me section is where you'll put all your codes. You can do two things.. You can get the background image code, and then just find a picture of the Ohio State Buckeyes and put it in the code. Or.. You can get a myspace layout, and then just r eplace the picture that's already there with a picture of your own. Since you're new it'd prolly be easiest if you just got the background code, then just put a picture of the ohio sate vuckeyes in there..Because a myspace layout can be confusing, and you might not be able to find where to put the URL of the picture in. So you just go to google and type in "myspace background image html" or something like that..Once you get the code you'll paste it into your abuot me section then go to tinypic.com or photobucket.com and find a picture of your choice, copy the direct URL and paste that into the code. I'll do one for you. (and keep in mind you can change the picture..just change the URL to whatever you'd like) Background image code: <style> body{background-image:url("PUT URL OF PICTURE OF OHIO STATE BUCKEYES HERE!!!"); background-attachment:fixed;} </style> That's the code you'll use.. just replace the words i put in CAPS with the DIRECT URL of a picture of your choice and it should work </style> So copy that code and paste it into your about me section..If you already have a layout, then you'll just copy the URL of the picture and paste it into the layout code, just look for something that says body background and then has the ("ifjdifjdifj") And for the advertisements usually they'll be .GIF so you just delete the URL with .GIF Hope this wasn't too confusing! xOXo P.S. If it doesn't work for you then go to google and find a different background image url code.
