How do I make my myspace profile private?

I wanna make my profile private but when i make to where only my friends can see it but when i log out and look me up it shows up as non-private.

Answer:
Some ppl forget to hit "save changes." Right off the bat, I'd say that's what happened. You have 2.0 or 1.0 profile. That would help to know.
