What does "null" on Myspace mean?

What does it mean when http://www.myspace.com/#active comes up in the adress bar on myspace.com?

  • I have myspace.com set as my homepage on my internet. When I open my internet and I look at the address bar it says "myspace.com" but then when I go to put my email and password in the login box the address/url changes from myspace.com to http://www.myspace.com/#active. What does this mean? Your answer would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time.

  • Answer:

i think it's because of the javascript or whatever myspace.com uses for it's login. it just means there are active elements (elements that are used, like a textbox you're typing in) on the page.

Well, to me the word active would mean that you are using it. As in you are typing something in or clicking on something. It's nothing to worry about. Mine does the same thing.

It's just some way of telling the server that the account is "active", whatever that means...either the account is active, or you're "active" because you're logged in. Other than that, I wouldn't concern myself with it. Sites modify URLs all the time.
