Why won't my myspace 2.0 stretch? Problems with 2.0 myspace page! PLEASE HELP!!!!?

everytime i go to cutomize page and try to pull the width of intrest or the about me column it wont let me. When i do try to make it bigger and press publish i go to my page and it just stays big? can someone help me please??

click the tab that says apperance then click change layout and it show you how it will look. -hope i helped
