How do you make myspace private?

How do i make my blog private to anyone and only visible to friends on myspace?

• sad to say, my son's father and his family are extremely stalker status and they read into whatever we put online and basically try to COMPETE to try to make their lives seem funner and happier and blah blah blah. it's sad that they live their lives trying to make themselves look better when really it's not about who's better, it's about the welfare of my child...anyway, i shouldn't have to hide my life and i enjoy sharing photos and information about my life and family online with others. I've blocked them from my page, and I've made my entire page private so they cannot see my photos or read into anything to try to cause drama, but I can't seem to make my blog private. I'm using the myspace 2.0 profile layout if that matters; can anyone help me to protect my information from anyone and everyone who is NOT my friend on myspace?

  when you go down to post it will ask you if you want it to be public, friends, preferred list, or diary. If you choose preferred list then you will have to post the blog then go to the left side of the screen it will say preferred list and you click on that and it will say add people to preferred list but unfortunately you can't drag them over from a list. You will have to search myspace for them each individually and add them to the list one at a time. (BTW) If you have your profile set to friends can only view it, then you dont have to change your blog too.
