How to set Myspace profile 2.0 to private?

How do you know if you have myspace 2.0......?

  • also if i do have myspace 2.0 then how do i set my profile private?i think i set it private but im not sure...how do i check...or better yet how do you set it private?\

    Set it to private in account options. Myspace 1.0 and 2.0 look very different. Myspace 1.0 will have your picture on the left and your status on the top right of your profile in big letters by default. 2.0 will have your default picture, your status, your mood, and some other stuff all at the top instead of just your profile picture and status in big letters.

To find out if you're using Profile 1.0 or Profile 2.0, here's what you do: mouse over Profile (in the upper nav bar) and choose Customize Profile (from the drop-down menu) the version you're using will appear at the top of the page if you're currently using profile 1.0 and you'd like to upgrade to 2.0 for enhanced privacy and design options, mouse over Profile (in the upper nav bar), choose Customize Profile (from the drop-down menu) and click the yellow button labeled Upgrade to Profile 2.0 Once you have 2.0 you can set privacy setings by Module, you can find more information on your myspace page on Help!

ok, you go to your profile and if you look under wear the icons "home" "mail" and "profile", where your picture is there will be a big 6 inch box going across the top where you pciture is, its about 2 inch. tall thats how you know if it is 2.0

It should be kind of boxy and the modules should be shaped kinda squarish and such. For private, go to your edit profile and look for a setting that says spam or such.
