How can fix Internet Explorer currently running with Add-on disabled? Anybody that can help me?

Issues with Internet Explorer 8?!?!?!?

  • I have Internet Explorer 8 & Windows Vista Home Basic 32 bit oberating system. 2 of our home laptops are connected to the internet (and both have experience this issue) via wireless, but our main Desktop computer is plugged directly into the DSL box and works fine! My wireless connection strength stays at 4/5 bars out of 5!) My internet explorer has been working extremely slowly, not wanting to display website pages, and sending me to search results when I enter an http:// address....When I am able to login to a site, I have to refresh the page 3-5 times to get a readable portion of the site to load! Sometimes my IE loads so poorly, that it says 'not responding', and I have to restart it and try again.. My computer itself has 68.9 of 103 GB free on the c:/ drive....And my computer loads relatively good. I have tried the following remedies, but nothing has helped : * Microsoft Security Essentials constantly runs on my computer. * Ran over 3 different computer cleaners (ccleaner, malwarebytes malware remover, etc.), which removed 1 backdoor.bot. * Tried turning off all of my firewalls, security programs etc. to see if there were any conflicts. * Reset the winsock via CMD as administrator. * Updated shockwave player to 10.1 version. * Tried to diagnose internet explorer 8, but even microsoft fix it found nothing. * Tried running IE without any addons or programs. * Went to internet tools, internet options, advanced and unchecked "show friendly http error messages" (Didn't help, so I re-checked it.) * Did a cmd sfc/scannow - windows resource protection did not find any integrity violations. * Added several sites to my trusted sites with my online tools & security options. * Even tried resetting my Internet Explorer and restarted my computer! * Ran disk cleanup, cleaned out my %temp% cache, and defragmented all drives! * Ran RegInOut 2.0.0.1000. * Did a system restore to 14 days earlier! * Uninstalled Yahoo Messenger. * Set Windows Firewall to allow Internet Explorer to get thru. * Diabled Windows Live in IE add ons. * Repaired Windows Live Essentials (repaired 4 of the programs) & restarted computer. * Uninstalled Windows Live Essentials (family safety & writer programs). Nothing is helping! What could it be, and how can I fix this?!?!?

  • Answer:

Humm, i would bet a quarter, that on wireless u can see his laptop on the wireless network and so can he (see yours) are u sharing music or stuff? I one gets a cootie goes to both of u. Otherwise, may i suggest www.iolo.com free 30 days trial of system mechanic. Maybe u both have a program in common in your laptops not in your pc and that is causing problems corrupting your registry, maybe your router wireless connection needs to be unpluggled for 5 minutes and restart it? maybe its firewall or windows has to be reset? Good luck.
